The idea for a hotel in space is almost as old as the space race itself. It
began at the 13th conference of the American Astronautical Society in 1967,
two years before Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first people on the

that Barron Hilton, son of the hotel mogul Conrad Hilton, gave a talk about

On February 10, 1966, Warhol took out a classified ad in the Village Voice —

clothing AC-DC, cigarettes small, tapes, sound equipment, ROCK N’ ROLL
RECORDS, anything, film, and film equipment, Food, Helium, Whips, MONEY!! love
and kisses ANDY WARHOL, EL 5-9941.”

[…] as a lazy person it pains me everytime open my phone, open the Uber app,
type my destination, and see the estimated price, only for my inner,
responsible, cost-cutting, fiduciary-self to end up taking the bus all the way
I think we can all agree that it would be much more efficient to simply be

Herschel, the article declared, had established a “new theory of cometary
phenomena”; he had discovered planets in other solar systems; and he had
“solved or corrected nearly every leading problem of mathematical astronomy.”
Then, almost as if it were an afterthought, the article revealed Herschel’s
final, stunning achievement. He had discovered life on the moon.

This bot watches Donald Trump’s tweets and waits for him to mention any
publicly traded companies. When he does, it uses sentiment analysis to
determine whether his opinions are positive or negative toward those
companies. The bot then automatically executes trades on the relevant stocks
according to the expected market reaction. It also tweets out a summary of its
findings in real time at @Trump2Cash
I had fun building this. In fact, I started coding while on a plane to Europe
and had the first version working by the time we touched down. (Shout-out to

unpredictable. Trump is unpredictable.

stretch of experimentation and debate by museum directors and curators
spanning continents and centuries.
